30 weeks!

Here's a picture of baby Claire, Rachel and Eric's new daughter!

How far along? 30 weeks
Total weight gain/loss: not sure... will know at my appointment this Wednesday.
Maternity clothes? yes and increasingly tired of them!
Stretch marks? No stretch marks.
Sleep: love it, but still not getting quality sleep.
Best moment this week: Becoming an aunt and watching Rachel and Eric become mommy and daddy to Claire. She was born on September 16th and weighed 8lbs. 9oz. The picture I posted was taken a little over an hour after she was born... I love those sweet eyes looking up at mommy!
Movement: yep!
Food cravings: I could eat sweets all day. They are so delicious :)
Gender: BOY. Yay!
Name: Elijah.... and his middle name is Dutch after my grandfather.
Labor Signs: Nope, although I've begun to have BH...
Belly Button in or out? Still in.. .
What I miss: Cold turkey sandwiches.
Milestones: Baby C weighs almost 3 lbs and is 15.7 inches long, although he may be longer if he takes after daddy!

29 weeks!

How far along? 29 weeks
Total weight gain/loss: I think one website referred to the remaining weeks as a time of "rapid weight gain." I'm really looking forward to it. :)
Maternity clothes? yep. all the way!
Stretch marks? No stretch marks.
Sleep: Still no, except last week when I took a phenergan--best sleep in a long time!
Best moment this week: I'll share one that was legitimately a "best" of the week, and one I will describe facetiously:
Michael finally finished sanding and staining two furniture pieces in the nursery and I couldn't be happier--he spent an incredible amount of time in the garage, sweating and laboring to finish the long process. Both pieces look great!
I also had the privilege of getting the Rhogam injection since I'm Rh negative (blood type). That was fun, most especially discovering that the injection is NOT in your arm.
Movement: yep! I've said it before, but he is his father's son. Active, active, active!
Food cravings: Is chocolate considered a unique craving since I craved that in my non-childbearing months?
Gender: BOY. Yay!
Name: Elijah, and the middle name is still in the air :)
Labor Signs: Nope, none.
Belly Button in or out? In, still! We're watching it closely though.
What I miss: The use of my abdominal muscles.
Milestones: 3rd trimester begins! The Lord has been gracious so far in sustaining little Elijah. We continue to pray for him daily, that God would bestow on him excellent health and that He would claim his soul, even in the womb! :-)
